It is hard to see the way forward this post election dark morning. I must put my faith in the Lord that he is still in charge.

I'm watching the poll results and getting more afraid by the minute. This was very timely. Thank you for your inspired words!

As I am preparing to go and vote, your words comfort my heartsick soul. We need not worry. No matter what our Father is the master of our fate as long as we do all we can. Thank you for helping to remember that at this time.

The final destiny of this world is in the hands of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Our personal eternal destiny is in our hands.

I just rose from my knees in a very dispirited prayer, thinking how I felt nothing, no words of comfort came to my mind. And then I read your article. This article and these scriptures my be all I have to get through this most difficult day of reckoning for our nation. Thank you. You have been the Lord's emissary for me today.

Thank you, this what I needed today and what all need to remember and trust in today and always.

Perfect and spot-on. I like to compare these last days, the final moments of these last days, as the "transition." Transition in the birth process is at the end, it is the hardest part, yet the fastest. In the Doctrine and Covenants 136:35 we read: "And now cometh the day of their calamity, even the days of sorrow, like a woman that is taken in travail; and their sorrow shall be great unless they speedily repent, yea, very speedily."
And in John 16:21 we see that in the end, it's all worth it: "A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world." Likewise, we are promised that for those who remain faithful during this 'transition' will be so full of joy during the Lord's reign that all sorrows will be forgotten. It's hard to imagine, but His promises are sure.
Thanks for a most timely article.

Thank you, Darla, for these sweet and comforting thoughts, so needed at this time. The Savior's doctrine is truly comforting, as is His Spirit. We need to cling to Him now and always. In Him only is there peace.
