Another thing I sometimes do is compliment the youth on their sacrament meeting talks. Paying attention to their names on the program and then really listening to their talks helps.

I have taught for years in Primary and in Sunday School. What you state is true. The youth know when you know their names and something about them. Take a minute or two and talk with them. They will light up like Christmas Trees. I love the hugs the girls give me and the small, low-voiced remarks from the young men.

Thank you for this wonderful suggestion. I have always felt there must be something I could do for the youth in my ward, even though I am now in my 80's and have very little contact with them. This is something I can do!
