I agree with Kathy H! Let's add that "None of the Above" and start over!! I was thinking of adding a name at the end, but that doesn't solve the problem either! I don't understand how either Clinton or Trump got elected! How did it ever get that far out of hand?

Would someone at Deseret News reconcile the view of DN as an arm of the Church with the First Presidency's letter regarding neutrality in the area of politics ?

I like my husband's idea. Add a selection that says "None of the above" to the ballot. If the majority of voters choose "none of the above," we hold a new election in which none of the present candidates can run.

Wouldn't be surprised if Deseret News wrote an article to clarify their stand on this article. I believe it is just the opinion of a journalist and not the church, otherwise the church would have come out with comments on right to life, religious freedoms, the other candidates history, among many other things. Also remember the Church's nonprofit status.

Hillary is no more worthy than Donald. Both should be asked to step down. To ask one and not the other is ridiculous. Both candidates are morally deficient.

I understand the feelings and thought behind this editorial regarding Mr. Trump. Does the newspaper care to make the same statement against Mrs. Clinton for her support of Mr. Clinton's actual actions, not just harsh speech, and against her further victimizing her husband victims, all in the name of political gain ?

Amen to all that you wrote Brenda Young. Hillary should not even have been allowed to run with her tainted record that is unveiled daily for all to hear about but nothing is done about it.

Here's a corresponding headline - "HILLARY CLINTON SHOULD RESIGN HER CANDIDACY". History shows the willingness of the Clinton's to deceive John Q. Public in order for personal gain and to obtain vast wealth and power. There is no moral superiority title to be won by either candidate and the fact that the Clinton machine attempts to show how superior she is with all the issues Hillary has is laughable at best and at worst, disdainful.

So this is Hillary’s October Surprise! It is not very surprising coming from a media who loves their darling Hillary! She has no problem casting huge stones even when her life is full of lies and hypocrisy. Taking back what I said, I WILL VOTE FOR Donald Trump. He’s the only one who could have gotten through the perception-creation machine, we call the media. Think how squeaky clean Mitt Romney is and he never made it. I’ll vote for Trump because our hypocritical nation deserves no better. Yet, in Mike Pence—his VP candidate there is hope for redemption.
