As a resident of Provo, I remember when Dr. Fletcher demonstrated stereophonic sound. He set up microphones at a distance from each other and then connected one with one radio station in Provo and the other with another. We could hear the sound from each radio station. You literally could hear him moving between the microphones if you sat halfway between your two radios. For us it was amazing.
