I loved this article for two reasons. First I served my mission in Slovenia in 2000 to 2002, and second my first daughter was born with CHD. These two events in my life are probably two of the most influential experiences in my life and I am closer to my Father in Heaven, so I found this article to resonate with many emotions I have. I wish I found this earlier, and glad to find out there will be another event this here.

What a great event. I served in Slovenia from 2004-2006, six months in Celje. I know Uros well, and it doesn't surprise me at all that he and his wife were instrumental in make this event successful. What great people there are in that part of the world. Thank you for this article and a reminder that God is aware of all his children and their needs.

So happy to read this! My husband is from Llubjana, and his family is still there. Such a beautiful place and such a beautiful story! He and I are the only members in our extended families so you can be sure this story will be shared with them.

This beautiful rendition left me wanting to hear more. What a beautiful experience for everyone involved. Yes, the Lord does help and guide his missionaries, this writing testifies of that.

I loved this article. I have been to Slovenia many times on genealogy quests of paternal heritage as well as my husband's family history. I have been a long-time fan of Paul Cardall. My son and a neice served missions in that mission. I have a great grandson who has CHD. I connected on many levels with this inspiring story. Thank You!!!

Thank you sister Hansen this is beautiful and quite touching to a father preparing to send his daughter to that distant land. What wonderful miracles...

My mother is american born, but is 100% Slovenian. I am new to family history work and have struggled to do work for her ancestors--as I don't know how to access their records in Slovenia. I enjoyed reading this story of miraculous events. It is amazing to step back and see how the Lord is in the details of our lives.

This is an amazingly inspired example of the just-in-time blessings seen in the detail of our lives when we are fully engaged in the Lord's work. These blessings are available every day, although most pronounced when on a special errand. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for this article. My husband served in Slovenia 20 years ago and we love the saints there and their beautiful country. I remember seeing a few pictures of the Cardall's in Slovenia. Your article is evidence once again that our Heavenly Father is involved in the details of our lives and loves all of His children. Thanks again Sister Hansen!
