I saw the film about two weeks after it opened here in the Phoenix area and cringed, shook my head and rolled my eyes all the way through. When it was over I left the theater thinking, "Okay, that's that. Now I've seen it. Meh." Sometimes when a much-anticipated film disappoints me I find myself going back to see it a second time just to make sure. (I should probably see a therapist about that.) So a couple of weeks later I was back in the theater watching "Saturday's Warrior" again. Cried like a baby all the way through. Saw it a third time and again the tears wouldn't stop. I now have it on DVD.

Someone pointed me to this post again. Such cute pictures. Just wanted to note that Monica Moore Smith is the blonde bullied girl in the Bullying Stop It Mormon Message, but Mason isn't one of the bullies. The two bullies are Bryce Fueston and Colby Smith. And both of them are actually nice guys. :)

I saw Saturday's warrior back in the old days. It was a great show. I encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to do so.

I think it's funny that the new Todd and Julie are in many of the new church videos, including "Stop It" (the main bully and the bullied girl, respectively). Moral of the story - don't cyberbully anyone, because you may have made a love pact with them in the premortal life!

I have long heard how wonderful Saturday's Warrior is but have never had the pleasure of seeing it. Excited for the opportunity & to watch it with our teenagers!! ^_^

I was fortunate to be on the set four different days. (They wrapped yesterday.) There is so much fun and love and laughter and tears with this amazing cast and crew. I can't wait to see the final project.

I honestly feel that whatever Lex does will be wonderful, I look for and see the best. He has done many great works and has his heart completely in it. Thank you brother Lex for your great spirit.

I am anxiously waiting to see the movie version of Saturday's Warriors. I saw the stage play twice and loved it, am quite sure the film version will be just as good !! I had the L..P. of Saturday Warriors. and we almost wore it out !! Hopefully it will be available in the Palm Desert, Ca. area !!

I can hardly wait for this. I loved the play. I hope they leave "Line Upon Line" in. I really wish that someone would revise "Threads of Glory". That was such a fantastic work. It would make a wonderful movie and we certainly could use it today.

I am so happy they are making this movie. And I really really hope he does make My Turn On Earth a movie. I love them both and want my grand kids to love them too.

Mmm I'm a bit worried about those deleted songs. I saw Saturdays Warrior way way back in the 1970's and found it delightful. I'm wondering if the producer should have called this movie something else. Won't stop me seeing it though.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie!! Loved the play.
