I'll ditto the question already asked.....Is there a way we can get a copy of Elder Ballard's talk in it's entirety - and the others as well? I'm hoping it was taped or recorded in some way?

This was as good as a general conference session, truly. I wish I had taken better notes. I remember walking out thinking how much I would like to have the transcripts to these. Thank you to the inspired speakers. All of them.

Elder Ballard gives saints in Utah an influential and uplifting talk. "The heart of the church" is certainly a vital organ that also needs nourishing! I felt humble to listen to his council.

Talks from Regional Conferences are almost never made available afterward, which is why I always try to take good notes when I am privileged to attend one!

I thought it was also very inspiring. One other point that I felt was of great importance was Elder Ballard's call to the saints here to talk with their children about being open to friendships with those not of our faith. I am from SoCal and feel members here are amazing, yet without knowing sometimes, don't support their children in befriending others that are not LDS. If we are to influence others for good we must learn to befriend them first. Truly befriend them, not contingent on anything, but mutual respect and wholesome recreational fun. I appreciated Elder Ballard mentioning this as it has been on my mind for a while now.

This whole conference was so inspiring and uplifting. We were blessed by every speaker. We were especially blessed to have our beloved Elder Ballard as the presiding authority. He is one of the greatest apostles of all time. He does so much and has done for so long. He is always the same. He is quiet, calm and Powerful - he is a man of God and when he speaks I know he is speaking the Lord's will. We appreciated his council and his blessing. He was at our stake conference when my husband was released from being the stake president 12 years ago and we will always feel a strong personal connection to him and to his wonderful wife. Thank you for this article. I will print it and keep it with my notes in my journal.

21.1.39 Statements Attributed to Church Leaders From time to time, statements are circulated that are inaccurately attributed to leaders of the Church. Many such statements distort current Church teachings and are based on rumors and innuendos. They are never transmitted officially, but by word of mouth, e-mail, or other informal means. Church members should not teach or pass on such statements without verifying that they are from approved Church sources, such as official statements, communications, and publications. Any notes made when General Authorities, Area Seventies, or other general Church officers speak at stake conferences or other meetings should not be distributed without the consent of the speaker. Personal notes are for individual use only.

It was a wonderful talk. He also stated to live within your means and not to be complacent because we are so near. We need to make sure we listen to conference and not just to consider it a day off from church duties.

Great summary! Thanks for posting this! My kids missed it and asked me if I took notes. I didn't. You obviously did!

CindySeptember 14, 2015

his talk was wonderful...I loved it and I'm so glad there's a review of it so I can at least remember the bullet points from it. I just wish a review was done on the other 3 talks as well! They were so inspirational and I could kick myself for not taking notes!

What a wonderful honor for that area in Utah! Keep shining your light, Provo/Orem!

Jill HammerSeptember 14, 2015

Is this posted anywhere in print, audio, or video form? I would love to have the chance to review it!!

It was a wonderful talk. A wonderful conference! Thanks. My spirit was well fed.

Will there be a transcript of this talk available anywhere ?

sueSeptember 14, 2015

That was one of the most powerful meetings in which I have participated. I spent the afternoon typing up my notes so that I could study each talk. There were also very pertinent warnings about listening to the voices of people who distort the truth- something about which I have been highly concerned.. Each talk had important advice and counsel. My own awareness of the privilege of living in Provo was heightened, as well as my feelings of responsibility to working to spread the Gospel. Some personal questions were answered for me. Great opportunity to hear our leaders speak.

I would love to have Elder Ballard's talk in its entirety. Do you know how I can find it? He likened his talk to an epistle from Paul to the ancient Saints and surely such a modern day epistle should be available to us in written form.

VitaminDaveSeptember 14, 2015

I missed the "powerful" part. This time tested counsel that should be habits by now. Did he say anything else?

Chuck DeWittSeptember 14, 2015

Delightfully entertaining for a few moments and then the heart of the matter that we need to heed. The other speakers offered details also and I would love to get the written talks from this Regional Conference. Does anyone know if they will be available?
