These suggestions remind me that some of my sweetest experiences in life came in simple ways---good conversations with friends, a walk in nature, a good book, family games. These things cost nothing, but bring joy. And they leave us debt free!!!

What wonderful ideas. We are empty nesters, but we will definitely incorporate some of these ideas into date nights or gatherings with friends.

Thank you for the great ideas. I'll add for #11 Photo Shoot, try to te recreatean old family photo....either stage the kids like they were as babies or search for old family photos and try to recreate one. Who looks most like grandpa when he was a boy? Which grandma do you look like? Thanks for this great article.
