The series: "John Adams" was absolutely wonderful. I felt like a fly on the wall watching Adams, Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and others lay the foundation of freedom for this great nation. Abigail Adams was John Adams' most valiant and capable counselor. He respected her opinion and leaned heavily upon her. When John served with Franklin as ambassador to France, John and Abigail were separated for years. She took care of the children and ran their farm. I encourage everyone who wants to learn more about these men, that our Heavenly Father raised up, to watch this series. It is very uplifting and instructional.

This is an excellent article. Very well researched and written. A fascinating summary of true patriots of this nation and dispensation.

Wonderful article ! Interesting it started out with John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, one time friends and allies who had kind of a falling out but in the later years of their lives restored that friendship and respect. That kind of leadership is sorely lacking in today's political environment, certainly the humility manifested by many of our founding fathers can't be found in our leaders today.
