No one, including Dr. Stuerer, seems to have considered that this whole mess may have started as a medical issue! Postpartum depression, caused by hormonal imbalances, sometimes manifests as anger. Maybe the first thing the letter writer needs to apologize for is not trying harder to figure out the real problem.

There is an obvious option as well. That is that you get a divorce and then find somebody who truly is loving and kind and appreciative. It’s not a sin to find somebody who’s loving you and kind and appreciative. Just get divorced first.
