I'm going to be THAT person and comment out loud that I hope you don't mean stuffing your feelings inside, which can be equally damaging. I have taught my kids that sometimes they need to deal with an emotion privately, and sometimes they need to let it out. In all times, take it to the Lord and the people in your life you can trust. Self discipline is a very important virtue we all need reminded about. We won't hear about it in most of the social cacophony around us. Thank you.
