There is much good in this article of forgiveness and hope, but it is only through the limitless power of the Atonement can one find the patience and long suffering to endure to the end. To state the obvious, we need to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. We must recognize evil to avoid placing ourselves or our loved ones in harms way. I can pray for the pedophile that he will truly repent of his horrific actions, but I would never let him work in an elementary school, or be alone with my children.
