Thank you so much, Joni. As I am growing older, I am feeling the sting of being labeled as "old." Sometimes when I am conversing with someone, it becomes very apparent they don't see me and they are not talking to ME. They are talking to and "old" person. I think we sometimes shrug off labeling, gossip, and criticism as minor sins. They are not. They destroy love and unity, and create contention, which the Savior condemned. If we are to be a Zion people who are prepared to meet the Lord, we must rid ourselves of these divisive practices. One of the great blessings of having the Spirit with us is that we discern the strengths in one another and rejoice in them.
