Moses’ priesthood lineage has always interested me. As you point out Abraham received the priesthood from Melchizedek Moses’ line came thru Jethro, Caleb, Elijah, Jeremy, Gad, Esaias. But, Esaias received it under the hand of God. While Esaias lived in Abraham’s day and was blessed by him, his priesthood didn’t come thru the fathers but from God.
Who was Esaias, what did he do, who were his people, what positions did he hold that he should have the singular relationship with God?. Or, Maybe the recorder erred? I’ve always wondered about this person.
