Memorizing a scripture helps us to "write it on the tablet of our hearts." I have also been surprised at the positive results of writing out a scripture by hand. As I have done so, it really opens itself up to me. When we are familiar with the scriptures, we are providing the Holy Ghost with a great tool to teach us and to recall them to our memory.

I read 30 chapters a day in the Book of Mormon and I read the Book of Mormon every 8 days. Today I am on my 606th reading of the Book of Mormon. I takes me about and hour and a half to read 30 chapters. If you read 10 chapters a day you can read it every 24 days. Sincerely, Mr. Kay D. Jenkins
