Prophet also said in his book The Miracle of Forgiveness" Repentance A godly sorrow for a sin, and to be forgiven one must recognize his sin, abandonment of the sin, confession to church authorities and all others wronged by the sin, restitution, keeping the commandments, and forgiving others. He said "Trying is not sufficient and the objective of repentance is to obtain perfection.
