Isn't it interesting how our Father's plan made each of us beholding to our mothers and to the Savior. We wouldn't have life without either of them. Chances are, once our mothers are departed from this life, we will miss both her and the Savior equally; although our spirits probably miss our Savior more than our current conscious-self recognizes. Nevertheless, what a lovely comparison in similarities of personal heart-felt loss for one so beloved. Types and shadows...

Your writings are always beneficial for me. This story is especially meaningful as my father was an artist, and we had trouble finding a home for his painting of the Cardston Temple. Thank you for sharing this poignant memory.

This lovely story and your insight brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I believe the Lord loves each one of us enough to do all sorts of things for us that we would never imagine. Thank you for sharing this.

Such a personal story that tugs at my heart. My mother had a similar unraveling of her life. Thanks for sharing! I felt your positive love and support of her even though it must have been difficult for you.

What a wonderful, insightful tribute to your mother. Thank you for sharing your understanding of her and the sacred very special love the Lord has for her. She truly loved him and showed it by her dedication to him all of her life in spite of her tremendous trials. The lord knows who loves him. His sheep know his voice and do his will. She earned her place in the kingdom of God. Within this article some very important gospel truths are taught that many of us may never learn or even understand.

This is a powerful story, especially considering that it could not take place in one of our temples nowadays where all the art pieces are made especially for it. Thank you so much for sharing it, Larry.
