These are great ideas for the VERY young. However, the leaders of the church have warned against the current trend to postpone marriage and just "hang out."

I wish that it was alive for me. I am 73, a RS President in in out branch, busy with a Food Bank, brought to our building, and keep busy with donations of making hats and scarfs for abuse centers. But the few single programs I ahve gone too, I was too old for most men. I wish wards were more helpful for the older single adults.

Wow! Go girl! I doubt I have had 16 dates in the whole of my life!

I loved casual dating once I turned 16 and then after going to BYU. I ended up going on at least 1 date with 50 different guys before I got married. I called date #50 to thank him for a truly wonderful time on the SAME day my missionary called me fresh off his mission. I found that the most successful way to get a date was to show sincere and enthusiastic interest in guys' talents and interests, to ask them questions about themselves, and to show them that I remember the things they told me. That got me a majority of dates, and I wasn't (too) afraid to ask out the shy remainder of boys who needed some prodding! And oh, did I have some fun!
