What wonderful, compassionate advice from Brother Steurer! It helps so much to remember our limitations, and to remember that God is mindful of every person and their suffering. He truly will minister to those who, tragically, decide to end their lives, and healing does take place on the other side of the veil. In the meantime, we can give love and compassion to those in need, but God has not given us the power to take away their agency to make very sad choices. This situation reminds me of President Nelsons counsel to see the big picture. In the end, all will be healed, and we can hold fast to that hope in Christ.
