I lost a grandson to suicide a few years ago. I felt that I could have reached him and helped him if I was not so far away. I felt that I had failed him. Your article was a tremendous help in my journey to forgiving myself, thank-you for sharing a baring your soul.

Thank you so much Sister Isackson for this article. I'm so sorry for the loss of your son and the inevitable pain it has caused. You wrote things I myself feel everyday of holding onto pain, anger, resentment over things from the past. I feel many of us do, so I appreciate your candidness in writing about a difficult subject. It helped me very much and I will now re-read and try to overcome my own faults in this area. I love how your write. Thank you so much.
