I have a sister in law say " I've never seen a family with a work ethic like your family". My brother, sister and I learned by example and chores all our lives. We were required to have our beds made before we left our rooms by school age. Do I regret these lessons? No, now over 5 decades later that lesson remains. Now my granddaughter at 6 knows grandma's expectation and we do it together.

stop washing their clothes, cooking whatever they want at meal time, and driving them wherever they want to go and then see how quickly they get their little behinds in gear. honestly the parents of today are a joke.
