Here's what I don't understand. Why can't in-utero videos of the abortion process be screened? Nothing else has a hope of being as effective as a video of the ugliness actually transpiring.

Thank you Brother Givens for a thoughtful, well researched and careful analysis of a sensitive subject. I could not agree with you more.

Thank you for expressing my feelings so well.

Thank you for publishing this. I had read it the other day when Nathanial Givens discussed it on his blog, and, as a everything written or spoken by him and his parents, it builds understanding and faith in our loving Savior.

thank you for your thorough thought and research. I am deeply troubled by feminist arguments, in particular, that continue to victimize and demean women and life, in the name of 'women's rights." I was "trained" as a feminist during my work on a Ph.D. and I can say--that while clearly there was/is a need for a women's movement, much of current feminist thought is based on faulty premises. In short, much of it is a lie.. And so many young women have bought into it:(

Thank You.

Amen. Best article I have read to date on this issue. The longer abortion is accepted in this country, the longer we will be denied heaven’s blessings. We are as wicked as China, India, or any other country that sacrifices its young on the altar of inconvenience. Half the Black babies in the US are aborted, thanks in part to the ubiquitous abortion clinics that fulfill Margaret Sanger’s goal of eliminating the Black population here. Black lives do matter, and so do all babies’ lives. Use birth control, or don’t have sex! Rape and incest are the only possible excuses for abortion, and adoption is always a better choice.

Excellent article! Thank you

We have a statue of Liberty, we should have a statue of Responsibility standing next to her. Americans increasingly shy away from taking responsibility for any action they take.

I have never been a bishop, however I have always wondered how someone could answer question number seven on the temple recommend interview and support abortion for thee but not for me. Also it would be interesting to see how the demographics of this country would be different if only half of the abortions performed became Living sons and daughters of our heavenly father as they were intended to be.

Deeply thoughtful, powerful, comprehensive! Thank you for your erudite and touching! (almost an oxymoron) explanation of what is becoming a not-so-slowly dying discussion. I will study this and arm myself for future encounters. And, I will pray for us all. As a nation, we seem to be slowly losing to "Satan's grasp".

Thank you for writing this article! I have been struggling to see so many of my Latter Day Saint friends saying they are Pro-choice. I have read numerous talks from President Nelson and previous Prophets that speak very clearly against abortion. It’s quit simple...follow the Prophet. We will all be help accountable on whether we actively stood against sin (the world) or if we just stood passively by while millions of babies were killed per year. Even the elect will be deceived in the last days.

So well stated! Thank you for putting into words thoughts and reasoning behind what I believe on this issue. As an RN who works with data, quality and reporting I also appreciate the literature, statistics and data presented surrounding multiple aspects of abortion, especially the long-term effects on the women who undergo these. I am going to share and save this! Thank you again!
