Thank you for writing this article. I found it to be very interesting. I understand completely how we each can mix up what a person says because often I try to tell others what someone said and get it wrong. I didn't know about how the last five years of Joseph Smith was actually reconstructed by his friends and recorders. I enjoy your articles very much. I always learn a lot.

When we see a person speaking we have more than just their words to judge their meaning by. Voice tone and body language tells us much. This is not that. Confidence can be misunderstood as arrogance, especially when tone is lacking. Personally seeing God the Father and his son Jesus Christ would inspire a level of confidence unlike any other life experience.
