You're right---I'm a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of both young women and young men, and boy! are they different. All are quite precious, and I need each of them. In fact, a daughter is driving me to a temple recommend interview tonight because a son at the last minute couldn't take me. With all these great people, though, it's no wonder my hair is so grey!

Nice story. My wife and I had a girl first then three boys in a row (four in six years).
She was the oldest of 5 followed by four boys. A rather unruly bunch but protective of others. It was a rather exciting time. When the boys were teens we received a wonderful message from the school. The boys were bragging about how tough their mother was.
Girls are prettier but much harder to care for.
