Thank you for this article. I've learned to wake up in the morning and count my blessings. For example, I lay in bed for a few minutes and think "Hey! My knees don't hurt this morning!" In being grateful for "little" things (like a hot shower - I'm grateful for indoor plumbing because I have gone without it!) I find that I am a lot happier. The Primary song "Heavenly Father Loves Me" is my favorite song because it helps me to remember all the things I normally take for granted that bless my life every day. Daily expressions of gratitude to God and to those around us for simple things can bring great joy into our lives.
