I saw this movie and loved it! However, I would never take a young child to see it. Much too scary.

This is a PG-13 movie in my opinion. I'm NOT a fan of "horror movies" at all. My idea of the perfect Halloween movie is "Hocus Pocus". My spouse and I loved this movie. Great acting, great humor ("bad kitty" line hysterical), and enough "scary" to make it fun. THAT said, I will not take my 8 yr old granddaughter to see this. She is prone to nightmares and I'm certain several scenes would haunt her. On the other hand, my "tough-as-nails" 12 yr old granddaughter will love this. She loves a good scare, differentiates well between fiction and fact.
