How wonderful that many of us can be blessed by her pure spirit of love and testimony! Yes, tears are rolling down my cheeks. I hope she can rejoice in knowing how many people she has served through your beautiful article.

I found myself weeping with gratitude and joy as a result of your descriptive story. Thank you for putting into words such deep, sweet, emotions. The spirit carried love into my heart. I, too, want to be more like your remarkable new friend.

Reading this article beings many wonderful memories and tender feelings to me. My husband and I served our mission in Philadelphia. There is a large population of people from West Africa there. We were privileged to work closely with them. Many of these people came here as refugees from Liberia. The things they experienced during the war were horrible, but that doesn’t define who they are! They are happy, loving, and kind people. I have never felt as much immediate love and acceptance from anyone as I did from my African brothers and sisters. They are also very receptive to the gospel. When they hear the message of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ, they recognize it as the truth and want to be baptized. I love my African brothers and sisters!

Wonderful story! I've shared it with our granddaughter, Ashley, who is serving in Grenoble, France! Also with Janella (Home "Teachee"), serving in Cape Verde Praia mission. Still remember the wonderful time we had with both of you on our Church History Tour. Thanks!

What a very special way of writing about a very special encounter with a very special daughter of our Heavenly Father. I can imagine you want to cherish this experience forever

Your precious story was a gift I will always cherish. What a great reminder that the Spirit doesn't just dwell in people with near-perfect bodies. The Spirit is often found in tattered, worn souls, and in uncomplaining people with bruised and broken bodies. Sometimes, in fact, it is the broken down, damaged, maligned children of God who shine most brightly with the Spirit. Their great humility is an invitation to the Spirit to abide with them. May we each carry our personal burden in a way that will always welcome the Spirit.

This was so inspiring and brought me to tears. I will put her name on the prayer roll at the Meridian Idaho Temple.

My wife and I were blessed to spent a few weeks in Malawi to start the PEF program there. We met so many wonderful blessed spiritual people while there. We so wanted to go back to continue helping with the program, but health issues forced us to return to our home in Arizona.

This article had me weeping at the end. What a glorious experience you had and how grateful i am that you shared this with your readers! Just goes to prove Scott Hamilton;s quote: "The only disability is a bad attitude." May the Lord continue to bless this sweet sister.

Thank you---oh, thank you for this. "Her missionaries have come home." Your sweet, sweet account caused me to remember "my" missionaries who taught me, baptized me, and confirmed me in Shreveport, Louisiana in March 1971. Again, thank you for this---and thank you and your husband for raising a precious daughter who shared the Gospel of Christ with others in other countries. I am a father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather who understands a little of what you have accomplished with your daughter. Thank you.

Your eloquent words were written for many of us who had forgotten what kind of God's children we ought to be. I will cease my murmuring today and try to be thankful for every small pain I have. Thank you, I wish that I too could hug Regina

Thank you for this wonderful article. It really touched my heart. Thank you for reminding us all to look past what we see with our natural eyes and see what Heavenly Father sees. You should probably warn people to have a box of tissues nearby!
