Thanks for giving specific things we can do to try to change the way we see ourselves. It is unbelievably hard for me to see the good in myself or to accept the good that others see. Telling me not to listen to the inner voices that are my constant companions doesn't help. Your specific suggestions do help. Please tell us how to hang onto the feelings of value, so that we don't slip back into old familiar patterns after feeling God's love for a few moments. I wish there were a twelve-step program for this. The constant criticism I grew up with continues inside my head.
