I have completely overcome depression and anxiety in my life through intense prayer, daily scripture reading without fail, and taking advantage of the brain's plasticity to change; meditate about things, scenes, situations that bring you happiness and fell joyful. Immediately replace negative thoughts with positive ones every single time. The brain learns to think positively by doing this. The Joy calendar works. It took 50 years to learn that I can have joy every single day. But I've done it and my life has changed dramatically.
