Excellent article. I'm glad the author noticed that charity is a requirement, not an optional or "nice to have" spiritual gift. Let me - or rather Moroni - strengthen that message: "And except ye have charity ye can in nowise be saved in the kingdom of God..." [Moroni 10:21]

I figured out long ago I couldn't change my spouse. I've been working on changing me. The piece I have been missing, made clear in this article, is that I not only need to change myself but look with charity at my wife until I barely notice the things I don't like and truly appreciate the things I do like. I've got some work to do, but now my plan is much clearer. Thank you.
