The application process opened June 1, 2022, and will continue until August 15, 2022. All Choir applications must be submitted entirely online. The Choir recommends applicants carefully read the Application Guide before beginning the application.

Each application requires a digital voice recording and digital photo submission. Upon receipt of the electronic application, the Choir will email the applicant’s local Church leader and ask for an ecclesiastical endorsement. What Is Involved in the Audition Process?

The process to become a member of the Choir is completed over nine months. An individual must meet the membership criteria outlined above and complete a four-phase audition process. The four phases include the submission of the electronic application, completion of a musical skills assessment, an in-person audition (which includes an interview with a member of the Choir presidency) and 16 weeks of training in the Choir School and Chorale at Temple Square.
