I have presented and written about so many exceptional books over the years, but I will attempt to showcase some of my most memorable chapter books in this article. This will be difficult as I only write about what I think are the best in each article. All are good for ages eight through adult. Most would be great to read out loud.

I know I’m grateful for stories that can whisk me away, immerse me in another time period, or help me see the world in a way I wouldn’t have before. This month I have two recommendations for you of stories that showcase family relationships, love, forgiveness, and finding the strength to overcome life’s obstacles.
It’s time to be thankful for all we have. But we should be grateful all year long. Here are some books that put the focus on this beautiful season. The first book is best for ages eight and up. The rest are picture books and are good for all ages, unless otherwise indicated.
Halloween is around the corner, but the following books can be enjoyed throughout the year. The first four books are board-books good for toddlers. The next three books are picture books best for ages three to eight. The rest of the books are fiction books geared for ages nine and up.
If all of us made trophies for everything magnificent that God has granted us, where would He keep them all? As we thought about all the trophies God would receive from His grateful children, we had the idea of writing a story about those trophies and the way God would manage them.
