MEET AUTHOR Rynna Ollivier
Rynna Ollivier is a life long member of the Church who has served as a Stake Young Women’s President for 15 years, Ward Relief Society Presidency, Stake Missionary, Church Public Affairs for the South Bay area of Southern California, and is a long standing Gospel Doctrine teacher. She has a special interest in ancient scripture and teaches a weekly class on Mysteries of the Old Testament.
She is retired from the Fashion Industry and International Marketing, which took her all over the world. She feels the two experiences that have enriched and blessed her life the very most, besides home and family, is her work with Joytown Schools, a facility for severely handicapped children in Thika, Kenya, and as a consultant for the International Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) helping patients of all ages, and their families, adjust their lives tied to a world of medical pumps and oxygen.
She has three children and seven grandchildren. She and her husband Joe live in Palos Verdes, California.
