Nicole Dyer is a genealogist, lecturer, and creator of FamilyLocket.com, where she writes about finding ancestors and keeping them close to the heart. She is the co-author of the book “Research Like a Pro: A Genealogist’s Guide,” and speaks regularly at genealogy conferences and local events. She has served in several family history positions at the ward and stake level and loves teaching others about family history. Nicole is a steering committee member at the Pima County Genealogy Society and specializes in Southern United States research and Mormon pioneer research. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in History Teaching and taught middle school for one year before her children were born.
