Joanne Patterson Rich has lived in Salt Lake City most of her life, attending Olympus High School and graduating with a BA in Communications from BYU! She married the most wonderful man on earth, Jim Rich, who passed away valiantly in 2013 after a battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). She credits Jim with showing her and her children, by example, how to show a sincere interest in others, something he was a master at. They have five children and, at present, 14 grandchildren; their most prized blessings.Joanne has written and produced musical readers theater productions for nearly 25 years which she continues to perform with her troupe, Songkeepers’. She loves the Lord,  her family, writing, performing, meeting new people, cookies and accentuating the positive’, which continues to be, as she says, a work in progress.
