Wally Goddard is a Professor of Family Life for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service where he develops programs on personal well-being, marriage, and parenting. He is well known for his many creative family programs, including The Marriage Garden and The Parenting Journey. Wally has authored or co-authored several books including Between Parent and Child, The Soft-Spoken Parent, and Drawing Heaven into Your Marriage. He discusses new ideas at his blog www.DrWally.org .He has been recognized by his colleagues by being granted fellow status by the National Council on Family Relations and given the Career Achievement Award by the national association of family life specialists. Wally and his wife, Nancy, have three adult children, nine grandchildren, and have cared for twenty foster children over their 36 years of marriage.
