I returned last week from the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, Utah. It is one of the three foremost festivals in the country and truly does not disappoint! Of the 6 plays we enjoyed, I truly loved Into the Woods; one of my favorite musical productions of all time. One of the many running themes throughout the production is – BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH! One can wish for something, maybe even get the wish and then it turns out to be nothing like what we expected! Or, we can wish for something specific and never even come close to getting that wish!
The question I pose to you is, how do you handle the difference between what you wish for and even pray for and what you get? Or perhaps, how do you handle what you wish you were and what you are?
As Shakespeare would put it, well.”This is the short and long of it”! Waiting to hear your thoughts!
Send your responses to ci*************@gm***.com and we will publish as many as we can.

With lots of humor! And with patience, knowing that my falling-short-gap is giving me a chance to practice charity: long-suffering and compassion for myself:)

I have learned over the years that my Heavenly Father is perfect in every way. I pray daily for general things or specific ones but my trust is in my Father in Heaven who knows what I need best and has promised me that I will always have the strength by the Grace of Christ to endure what ever situation. So through many trials and errors I stand with the Saints and say " Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear; But with joy wend your way."
