A new Dan Jones/UtahPolicy.com poll shows that a majority of Utahns are “completely opposed” to same-sex marriage and “completely support” Utah’s legal defense of Amendment 3:
A new Zions Bank/UtahPolicy.com poll conducted by Dan Jones and Associates finds 53% of Utahns say they “completely oppose” same-sex marriage while another 8% say they are “somewhat opposed.” Just 24% say they “completely support” same-sex unions while another 5% say they are “somewhat supportive.”
This is not a surprise. Sutherland has long maintained that although those in favor of “gay marriage” are practically omnipresent in their loud demands, there is a large silent majority of Americans who not only support traditional marriage but outright oppose same-sex unions. They are underrepresented in the media. And they don’t want to be “Eiched” for their views.

I strongly support your efforts to legally defend Utah's Amendment 3 and completely oppose same-sex marriage. It is disheartening to see judges overturning similar bans in state after state. Traditional marriage IS marriage. Let the same sex folks have civil unions but please, don't call it marriage!

I live half the time in Utah (the other half in California) and feel same gender marriage is a farce. It's trying enough being married to someone of the opposite gender. My second great grandfather had three wives, kept a daily diary, and discreetly let it be known it was three times as difficult. He was willing to do it because he had been called by Brother Brigham to do it, but it was no joy ride for him or the wives.
